Who this agreement is between

This website is owned and operated by BATMOON TRADING PRIVATE LIMITED, a private limited company incorporated in India. By browsing the site or placing an order you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract in India to place an order.

Products and descriptions

BatMoonKart sells perfumes, essential oils and cosmetics. Every product listing states the size, form and, where applicable, the fragrance notes and ingredient list.

• Photographs are representative. Colour reproduction varies between screens, and a shade may look different in person.
• Natural ingredients vary slightly between batches in colour and intensity. That is a property of natural material, not a defect.
• Essential oils are supplied for external and aromatic use only. They are not medicines, they are not for internal consumption, and nothing on this site is a medical claim or a substitute for medical advice.
• Patch-test any oil or cosmetic on your inner forearm and wait 24 hours before first use. Stop using it if you react.
• If you are pregnant, nursing, or being treated for a medical condition, consult your doctor before using essential oils.

We sell only lawful goods. Nothing on this site is a drug, a prohibited substance, a weapon, tobacco, alcohol, a lottery product, counterfeit merchandise, or adult content.

Pricing, taxes and invoices

Any struck-through price shown alongside a selling price is a real price at which the product was previously offered. We do not inflate a reference price to advertise a larger discount.

A GST-compliant tax invoice, showing the tax component separately, is issued with every order and emailed to you.

Prices can change without notice, but the price that applies to your order is the one displayed when you place it. If a product is listed at an obviously incorrect price because of a technical or human error, we may cancel the order and refund you in full rather than fulfil it — we will tell you why.

Orders and acceptance

Placing an order is an offer to buy. The contract is formed when we confirm the order by email. Until then we may decline an order, in which case any amount paid is refunded in full.

We may decline or cancel an order where:

• The product is out of stock or has been discontinued.
• The delivery PIN code is not serviceable.
• The details given appear false, incomplete or fraudulent.
• There is a pricing or listing error as described above.
• The order looks like a bulk resale attempt placed through the retail checkout without a wholesale arrangement.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the delivery address and mobile number you enter.

Payment

We accept UPI through our payment gateway and cash on delivery. There is no additional charge for either method.

• UPI — the order is confirmed once the gateway reports the payment as successful. If money is debited but the payment fails, it is auto-reversed by your bank, normally within 5 to 7 working days.
• Cash on delivery — pay the courier in cash at the door. Please keep the exact amount ready. Repeatedly refusing cash-on-delivery parcels may lead us to withdraw the option for that address.

We do not see or store your card, UPI PIN or banking credentials at any point. See the privacy policy.

Shipping and delivery

Shipping is free on every order within India, with dispatch within 24 working hours of confirmation and delivery in 5-9 business days. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery.

Delivery timelines are estimates and can be affected by courier delays, weather, festivals and local disruptions. Full detail is on the shipping and delivery page, which forms part of these terms.

Returns, cancellation and refunds

Sealed and unopened products may be returned within 7 days of delivery. Opened perfumes, oils and cosmetics cannot be returned for hygiene reasons, other than where they arrived damaged, expired, incorrect or missing. Refunds are initiated within 2 working days of an approved return and credited within 5 to 10 working days depending on payment method.

Acceptable use of the site

You agree not to:

• Use the site for any unlawful purpose, or in breach of any Indian law.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its servers or any account.
• Scrape, copy or republish the catalogue, images or copy without written permission.
• Place orders using false identities, or interfere with the site's operation.
• Introduce malware or attempt to disrupt the service.

We may suspend access where we reasonably believe these terms are being breached.

Intellectual property

The brand name, logo, site design, product photography and written copy on this site belong to us or are used under licence. You may not reproduce, distribute or create derivative works from them without our written permission. Third-party trade marks appearing on the site remain the property of their respective owners.

Liability

We are liable for supplying the goods you ordered, in the condition described, within the timelines stated. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

Subject to that, our total liability in connection with an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for allergic reactions where the ingredient list was published and no patch test was carried out, for damage caused by storing a product against the instructions on its label, or for delays outside our reasonable control.

Events outside our control

We are not in breach of these terms for a delay or failure caused by something outside our reasonable control, including natural disaster, epidemic, strike, civil disturbance, courier network failure, government restriction, power failure or failure of telecommunications networks. If such an event materially affects your order we will contact you and, if you prefer, cancel and refund it in full.

Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of them is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Bihar.

Nothing here affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, including your right to approach a consumer forum.
